Let's talk about it...

What do all of these images have to do with each other? Let me break it down...

Scot -

**To be read in a Cris Collinsoworth voice

Now here's a guy, who traded a guy named Mahomes, for a Guy named Chuba, to start a guy named fields, who is no longer the guy in Pittsburgh, whereas the guy he traded for is only the guy, while the main guy Johnathon Brooks remains an injured guy and now Scot won't have Russell Wilson who is the guy or Brooks who will be the guy. What a guy.

This was still an impressive trade.

I do anticipate that there will be more trades happening as we inch closer to the deadline and teams fall and climb closer or further from the hopes of making that sweet play-off run.

Week 5 & 6 Quick Blitz (highlights only)

Jarod and Travis held it down for the small folk being the only 2 teams with losing records at the time to pull of a win and they did it big putting up a combined total of 263.9. This was best case as they also dropped two teams with winning records down the pole. Good job guys.

Toby put up a Solid 115.66 points in week 5 which is a pretty solid attempt, however this still wouldn't have been enough to beat out any of the other winners. In week 6 however, Toby did find paydirt with his first win of the season. Heck yeah buddy.

Double SSOTW winner's

Week 5 - Shain

Week 6 - Travis

Well it was no surprise to me to see that Shain's highest scoring player was his recent acquisition in Patrick Mahomes., but to not have a single additional player put up double digits anywhere. Wow. Truly a work of art in week 5.

And Travis, I don't know what the heck you were doing. A. you started two TE's, literally the toughest position to predict and rarely have high output, but somehow you thought Tucker Kraft and Tyler Conklin were the combo to throw in there for TE and Flex. They combined for 4.5 points (2.5, 2.0) I literally just went to add a playe tab, clicked flex, scrolled halfway down and blind chose a player. It happened to be D'ernest Johnson (not who I'd choose, but making my point here). He had 5.4 points. He's the 3rd running back on the team. Literally any other skill position would have been a better choice.
