"That's what she said".
The playoffs is what was implied by this though. It's crazy to see the breakdown on this one this year. With the exception of Toby's extremely unlucky season thus far, the 11th place team (Travis) is only 2 games back from the first place team (Al).
FIVE teams are tied for the first place spot, and quite literally Toby may be the only one with no chance at the playoffs right now. He may even have a chance, I just didn't feel like doing the algorithm of what teams play who, and if they won or lost and Toby won out, how it would shake down. So Toby, I'm rooting for you.
So Basically the trade deadline is the night of November 7th. which is next Thursday. Make your moves boys. As a wise man once said - "A trade sent, is a trade received". Who was that wise man? Probably some guy who goes hard at Christmas parties and wears his santa cap like a douche bag.
I've had a lot of interesting questions surrounding this over the last week or 2, so I'm just gonna lay the rules out here. They are pretty black and white so no real need for elaboration, but as always, if your a little Timmy or Jimmy, feel free to hit a Comish up.
A trade involving Draft capital must also include a trade of at least 2 players (1 from each team involved)
A maximum of $10 capital can be sent per trade
A maximum of $20 capital may be sent in total by a team
Simply making the playoffs gets you $100 back in your pocket
Each win (including a first round bye) get's you more monies
Champion gets a Bonus $300 for winning it all
A keeper can only be kept for 1 year by the team that draft the player
A keeper can be kept an additional year by a second team if the player has been traded by the team that kept said player.
If a player hits the wavier wire at anytime during the season, that player is no longer keeper eligible.
The trades are the key here. A lot of value in a cheap keeper. Weigh yours options young padawans.
Last week nearly all of the underdogs won. 4 of the 6 games went to the dog, and of the 2 games that didnt, (Scot vs Toby) and (Josh vs. Steve) the point differential combined was only 4.06 points.
That's about as unfortunate as this girl's routine
Scot dropped Tyjae Spears to pick up Elijah moore, to drop Elijah Moore to pick up Mike Williams in Week 7. This all happened on the same day. One of those players ended up dropping 19 points over the last 2 weeks...the other ended up on Scots team combing for 2.0 points in the same stretch.
Well Congrats to these two....
